Does this product include local storage?

Yes. The Base comes with a pre-installed 32GB memory card for local video storage. You can expand storage up to 1TB by installing a larger memory card (not included).

How does it connect to my network?

Connect Base to your router with the supplied Ethernet cable, then cameras connect directly to Base via its dedicated wireless link. Don't need to pair each camera to your home Wi‑Fi separately, nor check if your Wi‑Fi uses 2.4GHz or 5GHz.

How does this product record video? 24/7 or event-based?

The SolarCam Lite adopts event-based recording strategy. It captures video when activity is detected instead of recording hours of inactive footage, helping save storage space and making important events easier to find and review.

Does this security camera system have good night vision?

Yes! It features full color night vision — not just black-and-white IR. You can see clear, vivid color details even in darkness, perfect for identifying people and activities at night.

Is 2K resolution clear enough? How does it compare to 4K?

2K is perfectly clear. On a phone, there’s no visible difference from 4K. It uses less data/storage, runs smoother on mobile, and captures all critical details (faces, license plates, actions) perfectly for home security.
